Meet Our Team

CBT Support

Hi I’m Cheryl Jones. With over 28 years of experience in healthcare, I am a Psychological Therapist who is BABCP Accredited in Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and a Member of the Employee Assistance Programme Association. I understand that menopause isn’t just “a phase”, it’s a transition that can feel like navigating a maze with a faulty map.

Guided by NICE recommendations, I provide practical tools and compassionate support to help you manage symptoms like anxiety/stress, grief, low mood, sleep disturbances inc. night sweats, and hot flushes.

I bring a well-rounded perspective to supporting individuals during menopause and perimenopause. Menopause and perimenopause can feel isolating, but it’s important for you to know you’re not alone, and your experiences are valid.

Whether it’s finding strategies to feel more like yourself again, regaining confidence at work, or learning how to embrace the changes (instead of wrestling them at 3 a.m.), I offer a structured yet tailored approach to help you regain balance and well-being. Together, we’ll chart a course that’s right for you, with room for humour and humanity along the way.

Assessment and therapy appointments are available at £95 per hour.

I can be contacted via email at: [email protected]

Supporting Women Through The Menopause with Expert Training

Sam O’Sullivan is the founder and head coach at SOS Athletic Excellence in Cardiff, with over 18 years of experience helping individuals achieve sustainable health, fitness, and body composition transformations. As an expert in evidence-based resistance training, Sam has a specific focus on empowering women to navigate the physical changes of menopause with confidence and strength.

During menopause, changes in hormones can lead to a decline in muscle mass, reduced bone density, and shifts in body composition, often leaving women feeling frustrated and unsure of how to regain control. Sam specializes in resistance training programs that are scientifically proven to counteract these changes, helping women:

  • Build and maintain muscle mass to boost metabolism
  • Improve body composition and reduce stubborn fat
  • Strengthen bones and reduce the risk of osteoporosis
  • Enhance energy levels, confidence, and overall well-being

Sam creates tailored workout plans to ensure each client feels supported and empowered to achieve their goals. Whether it’s through small group personal training, bespoke online coaching, or a focused 6-week challenge, Sam’s approach ensures long-term success while creating a positive, welcoming environment for women at every stage of their journey.

If you’re ready to embrace strength and take control of your health during menopause, Sam is here to help. For appointments or to learn more about his services, email [email protected] or call 07789908704
